We believe because of the new physical testing equipment and doing yearly physicals, our members are more aware and feeling safer and healthier. The JobCare team takes the time to discuss with our members about their blood pressure, respiratory problems and EKG's. We are able to correct any problems or issues before we are on the fire scene. The McDavitt Volunteer Fire and Rescue encourages all fire departments and EMS to have yearly physicals. Each year you read more and more about fire fighters/EMS people who are having heart attacks and diagnosed with diabetes.
